Dodge Ram Tough 200 Results

Postby acegear » Thu May 05, 2005 6:49 pm

After starting from the pole, Ted Musgrave in the #1 Ultra Motorsports Dodge totally dominated the rest of the field by leading all but 2 of the 160 laps run to take the checkered flag. In addition to taking the win, Musgrave moved into 1st overall in drivers points, 13 points ahead of 6th place finisher Bobby Hamilton.

Musgrave was able to hold off a hard-charging Dennis Setzer in two late-race restarts for the 16th win of his career, and truck-owner Jim Smith's 36th win as an owner, tying him with Jack Roush for the most owner wins since the series began in 1995.

The next Craftsman Truck Series race will be on Friday May 20, 2005 at 8:30pm EST at the Lowe's Motor Speedway in Concord, NC for the Quaker Steak & Lube 200 presented by Click It or Ticket.
