The ARCA Lincoln Welders Truck Series is an 11 race series run on paved and dirt ovals, in addition to road courses . This series was started in 1998 as a companion to the NASCAR Craftsman Truck series that was started in 1995. ARCA trucks run 6 and 4 cylinder engines in midsize trucks such as the Ford Ranger, Chevy S-10, and Toyota Tacoma. While similar in opporation as the NASCAR series, the ACRA trucks series has a decidedly different flavor due to the combination of paved tracks, dirt tracks, and road courses offered.
