The Menards Infiniti Pro Series is the IRL development series. As stated by the name, Infiniti supplies the 3.5-liter, 450 hp V-8. This 14 race series runs on primarily superspeedway ovals with at least two road courses thrown in for good measure.
The schedule for 2005 is:
- Homestead-Miami 100; March 6, 2005
- Phoenix 100; March 19, 2005
- St. Petersberg 100; April 3, 2005
- Futaba 100; May 27, 2005
- Texas 100; June 10, 2005
- Road Course; TBA
- Nashville 100; July 16, 2005
- Milwaukee 100; July 24, 2005
- Kentucky 100; August 13, 2005
- Pikes Peak 100; August 21, 2005
- Infineon 100; August 28, 2005
- Chicagoland 100; September 11, 2005
- Watkins Glen 100; September 25, 2005
- California 100; October 16, 2005
