Endurance rallying at its most exciting, the FIA Cross Country Rally Championship is the ultimate in long distance racing. Crossing entire continents, cross country rallies, or rally-raids take cross country racing to the extreme. The current 9 rally series crosses through some of the most inhospitable, yet beautiful terrain in the world. Each team is allowed a minimum amount of outside support however, each team is on thier own a majority of the time. The unique part of rally-raids is the fact that a majority of the route is unmarked. While each stage has a beginning and end, the competitors are on there own how to get there. Many obsticles may stand in thier way, but the first to make it to the finish wins.
