Erin Crocker in her first career ARCA start would start from the pole and lead the first 28 laps until Frank Kimmel made a run and captured the lead. Kimmels's lead would be short lived however as rookie Joey Miller was able to get around Kimmel on the next lap. Miller would pace the field for 6 laps when the yellow came out, bringing in the leaders to pit. Tandy Marlin would skip the stop to gain points for leading the race. After leading 34 laps the choise to forego the the pit stop would come back to haunt Marlin as he ran out of gas, leaving the front open for Ken Weaver and Chad Martin to trade the lead back and forth.

5th place starter Chad Blount was able to work his way to the front, taking the lead on lap 84 and never looking back. Blount was able to hold off the field for the remaining 36 laps and 2 cautions, one of which made the race last for 6 laps longer than the scheduled race. Taking the green on the green-white-checkered restart Blount held off Miller who shot forward on the restart from 3rd to only losing the checkered by .183 seconds to Blount.

The pole sitter Crocker would pull off a 12th place finish after a late race spin.
