Originally created by the famous Mickey Thompson in 1979, this series presented baja style racing in a stadium setting. The Mickey Thompson Series offered viewer friendly off-road racing for the masses. Gaining momentum in the 1980's this series brought record-setting crowds, and TV viewers into the off-raod scene. Sadly that momentum quit building with the tragic death of Mickey Thompson. The rising costs of the series and racing brought everything to a halt in 1995.

Now, The ProStadium Cup has been created to fill the void. The 6 race series will be held in a 2 day format, with qualifying on the 1st day and the Main events on the 2nd Day.
