After crashing in the qualifying session, Clint Bowyer relied on his skills as a former bodyshop guy and excellent racer to come from the back of the field in the Busch Series Sam's Town 250 to win the race. However, his 2nd win of the season didn't make much of a dent in the overall standings where Bowyer still trails the defending Busch Series champion Martin Truex Jr who finished 3rd and started from the pole.
