Mikey Has New Crew Chief


BDR names crew chief for Michael Waltrip
Derrick Finley will serve as crew chief of the Bill Davis Racing No. 55 Dodge driven by Michael Waltrip for the 2006 NASCAR Nextel Cup Series season.

Finley was most recently crew chief of BDR's No. 22 Dodge driven by Scott Wimmer during the 2005 season. BDR announced last week that Dave Blaney would drive the Cup series entry and that Kevin Hamlin would be crew chief.

BDR says the majority of the crew will move with Finley from the No. 22 team to the No. 55 team.

Next season will be the first since 2003 that BDR has fielded two full-time Nextel Cup Series teams.


Don't believe it will matter who is there..he will run in the back.

Yeah I don't think we will see much of Waltrip near the front this year. Especially in a Dodge. Unless Dodge can do something about the aero on those Chargers, I think it will be another year of slim pickings. But then again maybe they will surprise some people.
