Despite the Dodge Intrepid being an eligiable bodystyle to race through 2007, Dodge has directed all it's teams that only the Charger is to be used after the Sansung/Radio Shack 500 at Texas Motor Speedway on April 9, 2006. While some teams still question the ability of the Charger to compete, the recent win by Kasey Kahne at Atlanta where the Chargers have been notoriously difficult to dial in, has put some of those arguements to rest. In addition to Kahnes win, Kahne has also had top-5 finishes California Speedway and Las Vegas.
