Jeff Gordon continues his momentum from the end of 2005 into the beginning of the new season with a win in the second Gatorade Duel qualifying race for the Daytona 500. This win comes after he already secured the 2nd starting position by qualifying by speed in qualifying earlier this week. Gordon's team made the turnaround late last season after it became clear that he would not be making the Chase for the Cup in 2005.
