Elliott Sadler began racing at the tender age of seven years old. Garnering more than 200 victories, Elliott moved into stock cars in 1993, becoming the Late Model Stock Car champion at his home track, South Boston (Va.) Speedway in 1995.

Elliott’s first full season in the Busch series showed that he was destined for greatness, by winning three races, Elliott finished fifth in the Busch Series in 1997. A year later Elliott won twice and finished eighth in points for Diamond Ridge Motorsports.

Sadler made his Cup debut in 1998 at the Coca-Cola 600 at Charlotte and finished second to Tony Stewart in the rookie of the year competition for 1999. Sadler achieved a career milestone in 2001 with his first Cup victory, driving for Wood Brothers Racing in his third season. In the 2004 Race for the Nextel Cup, Elliot is 8th, 237 points behind with 3 races left to go. He also has 2 wins on the year.
