I'm with you on that SB. Not quite sure why I can't get anyone on board. There are quite a few out there, but they can't seem to be able to find us for some reason.

I'm trying to figure out how to get more people involved without spamming on other sites. Any ideas would be appreciated.

I have heard time is the best solution.

Some suggestions i would put towards you, however would be adding a link to the site as a signature to any other forums you may be on (that allow links) or perhaps adding a link to a signature on emails?

Try and encourage people to use word of mouth etc etc. I will do my bit and see if anyone is interested.

Yeah I have added it to my signature for my personal email and on my signature in any other forums, but to no avail. Of course I'm sure lack of content could be a problem also. I am so pressed for time that I am only barely able to keep up with NASCAR results let alone any thing else. I need to figure out a system for next race season so I can keep everything updated.

Hmm, still not much happening on this place. Its a shame though, this is probably the only motor sports website that covers sports in the same way and its a shame not too many people can find the time to post on places like this.

Having said that, that dosnt mean we all cant do our bit :D

I know. I have tried and tried to get more people on here, but to no avail. I would like to get more content under all the topics, not just NASCAR, but I only have so much time on my hands. I appreciate all the posts you have put up though. It makes it easier if you have someone you are writing to.

I don't have a lot in the way of advice-am new here, but the one thing I see that is missing is "opinions" nothing gets a response quicker than an "opinion"--this is a nice site and I enjoy reading all your posts, but sometimes it's hard to come up with a reply to your posts. It would be nice to see you make more "comments" at the end of your posts--express your own opinion about the article, then I think it is easier to come up with a reply.
Just my opinion. :)

You would sure think so wouldn't you? I'm not sure what else to do. Like I've said before, I have tried everything short of hijacking other lists to get new members.

Do you have a mailing list? A newsletter? something to remind folks to come everyday?

I don't have any of those things but I will look into it. The biggest thing is getting more people involved. And you are right about the opinion side of it. It is a "forum" and I should be doing more of that. Well I have the off-season to work on my approach for the new year.

I am not quite sure how this site works. You own the site Acegear, yeah? and you are just a mod.

I know being admin you would be able to access certain areas that gives you a list of every email address stored on the site database.

What is the situation here? is BWM the owner, or are you? Just always had the impression that you pay for the hosting etc etc.
