2nd place driver Clint Bowyer led the rest of the field in the 1st practice session for the Busch Series Sam's Town 250 at Memphis Motorsports Park. his fast lap of 22.773 at 118.561 mph bested both top rookie Reed Sorenson and points leader Martin Truex Jr who was 3rd fastest.
