Nextel Cup series leader Tony Stewart goes for the sweep at New Hampshire International with the pole for the Nextel Cup Sylvania 300. His run of 29.043 at 131.143 mph set the benchmark that the other teams had to reach. Sharing the front row is the revitalized Jeff Gordon who qualified 2nd under the supervision of his new crew chief, Steve Letarte.
