2nd placed driver in series points Clint Bowyer answered the challenge brought by series leader Martin Truex Jr by posting the fastest speed of the 2nd practice session for the Busch Series Ameriquest 300 with a lap of 39.751 at 181.128 mph. Truex dropped to 7th fastest.
