The Xtreme Dirt Car Series began life in in 1990 as the United Dirt Track Racing Association (UDTRA). Promoting late model car dirt track racing, the series started with 12 races in the southeastern US. Since then the series has been sold and expanded to a nationwide 29 race series named the Xtreme Dirt Car Series.
