Defending Busch Series champion, Martin Truex Jr, captured his 2nd straight win on the "Monster Mile" Saturday with his win in the MBNA RacePoints 200 at Dover International Speedway in Dover, DE.

Kevin Harvick had dominated the first 2/3 of the race by leading a race-high 86 laps. However, Truex was able to get by Harvick with 70 to go and never looked back. Harvick's day got worse when a crash between him and the defending Nextel Cup Series champion, Kyle Busch happened on lap 54. Depending on who was questioned, the blame could go either way. To make the situation even stranger, Kyle Busch went against traffic on the apron to get back to the grage area, supposedly to avoid a confrontation with Harvick.

Current series leader Carl Edwards, who started from the pole had engine troubles early on and retired from the race cutting into the comfortable lead he had at the top of the standings. Rookie Reed Sorrenson was able to turn his recent misfortunes around and finish in 2nd, gaining about 100 points on points leader Edwards. Rounding out the top-5 were Jamie McMurray, Dale Jarrett, and Nextel Cup points leader Jimmie Johnson.

The Busch Series returns to Nashville Superspeedway for the Federated Auto Parts 300 on June 11, 2005 with qualifying to start on 5:05pm EST, and racing to begin 7:30pm EST.
