In a totally dominating performance, Mark Martin added to his Busch series win total by leading 102 laps of the 150 lap race. Martin rejoined the Busch series last season after a hiatus of 3 years. Running only 5 races last season, Mark added his 46th career Busch series win.
Tony Stewart started the day on the pole with a record setting qualifying run earlier. He would be in contention until the late laps when he would be hampered by a low tire which would push him back to a 29th place finishing position.
Saturday's race began in the afternoon, but 8 cautions and a 26 minute rain delay caused the race to be finished under the lights. The final caution resulted in an 8 lap dash to the finish which saw Mark Martin hold off Kevin Harvick until the very end to take his 47th Busch series win. Rounding out the top-5 would be Shane Hmiel, Clint Bowyer, and rookie Reed Sorenson in only his 7th career race.
