The premire USAC Sprint Car series is run on dirt and paved tracks that range from 1/4 mi to 1 mi in length. These cars are powered by a 410 cu. in. "big block" V-8 that produces 760 to 800 hp and pushes them to over 180 mph on the straights. While similar in appearance to the WoO sprint cars, they lack the large upper wing that WoO sprints have.
The USAC Sprint Car series has produced such champions as Tony Stewart, Ken Schrader, Kasey Kahne, Rich Vogler, Johnny Rutherford, and Parnelli Jones.
