“The Steel City Outlaw” finished 10th in the 2003 World of Outlaws point standings, the fourth time in the last five years he has ranked among the top 10; drove Dennis Roth’s #83 Beef Packers Eagle to victory in both the Preliminary and “A” Feature races during the J.D. Byrider Outlaw Nationals at The Las Vegas Motor Speedway Dirt Track last February 28-March 1; recorded 32 top-10 finishes including 17 in the top five in 2003; led all 30 laps on opening night of the 14th Annual 1/3-Mile Short-Track Nationals at Eagle Raceway last September 19th; finished fifth in the 2002 World of Outlaws point standings; won the Night Before the Big One "A" Feature at Eldora Speedway August 4, 2000; received the 1999 World of Outlaws Rookie of the Year Award, the first honoring the late Kevin Gobrecht; won the first "A" Feature of his World of Outlaws career at Eldora Speedway June 5, 1999; finished sixth in the point standings while winning three "A" Features with the All-Stars Circuit of Champions in 1996; won the prestigious King of the Hill race at Grandview Speedway in 1995; shared All-Stars Rookie of the Year honors with Dale Blaney while finishing 10th in the point standings in 1994; won the Lernerville Speedway track championship in 1993; won the Busch Shootout, a series run between Lernerville Speedway and Pennsylvania Motor Speedway, in 1993.
